First you hear the speech. Now you get the response. However, this is so far the first piece I've seen that covers the Democratic response to the speech. Smart move to have two female Democrats deliver it. However, if you want to see the changing GOP views on sexism in politics, go to Comedy Central and check out Jon Stewart. As he frequently says, "Don't these people realize we keep these tapes?" Ah, how the opinions have changed.

This is a fine article, balancing Palin's claims about who she is and what she has done in Alaska with Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius' strong challenges to Palin's claims. The counterclaims of Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz are included, giving Sebelius' views added weight. Great quotes and well worth the reading.

This article does a good job of showing that Palin is already just a mouthpiece. She doesn't bring any substance to the ticket. Oh, how I wish Obama had picked Sebelius as his running mate. I wished that before, but now that Palin is on the Republican ticket, I wish that we had Sebelius, an example of a truly competent leader, to act as yet more contrast against Palin's complete lack of credentials and experience.
