Good reporting. Wide range of viewpoints. Accurate on the strategy--which is obvious to all. About the strategy itself, I can only say puhleeze! I'm a woman myself and the only stuff I've seen on Palin that approaches sexist has been in stories that questioned if she was prepared to parent a special-needs child in office. I posted a story from the NYT that quoted another legislator who talked about how hard it has been for her. But people asked the same about Edwards when he was still running, knowing how ill his wife is and how young his youngest children. Other than that, the media has questioned--as they would have any man with such a slender resume, on a ticket that has stressed experience--whether she's prepared for the job. This, my friends, is not sexism. It is due diligence. As a voter, I appreciate it. As a woman, I expect to have to measure up to the same standards as my male colleagues. Palin should do the same.
