I saw this yesterday and thought the same thing as the other reviewers. First, it's hard to deny the accuracy of a bill with Palin's initials on it--especially with a copy of it reproduced. You'll notice the other cut is even more drastic--to a food bank. It's nice when you can support your daughter in her time of need. But not all girls have a family that can or will do that. Not every family has two employed parents that earn such high salaries as the Palins. Some people are hungry and desperate. But people like Palin don't believe the state has any role in supporting them. They should all have loving families and churches who will do so. If they don't, that's just their tough luck. This, my friends, is what Christian compassion looks like in today's GOP. Wassalia gets a sports center (and the city debt to pay for the money-losing enterprise). But young pregnant girls and hungry families are on their own.
