The story of the problematic financing of big parties for convention goers is worthy, and the tidbits of on site information add color. To be more sensational, the investigator would have had to have found meaty evidence of wrongdoing. As is, the pervasive odor of slightly rotten meat is left lingering in the air. The author does not suggest any more effective way of monitoring the process.
