What sexist attacks? I haven't heard any sexist attacks. I haven't heard any attacks at all. In fact, the Obama campaign is such an attack-free zone it has been scaring some of his supporters. They're afraid he will, like Kerry before him, fail to fight back and be successfully Swift Boated. He has publicly said he'd fire any aide who brought Palin's children in as a campaign issue--a scruple the McCain campaign does not observe. In response to Fiorina's comments, I have to say I think the lady does protest too much. People are not painting Palin as a lightweight because she's a woman, but because the McCain campaign has made it a central issue of the election, and because she is--in point of fact--a lightweight. Given the fairly outrageous nature of Ms. Fiorina's comments, and the slant of this blog, the coverage here is quite moderate.
