I am glad to see the other reviewers of this piece saw through the saccarine BS that this article tried to pass off. Sarah has been groomed in the Republican-making machine here for years; as director of our own 'Uncle' Ted's 527 prior to election to mayorship of Wasilla. She was elected govenor because former gov. Frank Murkowski was so solidly hated here, all you had to be was NOT Frank. Check out the Mudflat's delightful blog for an insider's view. http://mudflats.wordpress.com/2008/08/29/what-is-mccain-thinking-one-alaskans-perspective/ I especially had a bout of gout over the "knows her way around a fishing boat" line......(breathe deep...) OK, I sit here right at this moment typing on my lap top at the galley table of my commercial fishing boat, in Alaska. Alaska is really just one big small town, and everyone is in everyone's business here- that's just the way it is. so that said....... The gals here would like to know how Sarah keeps that manicure so perfect, while pickin' fish? (snark)
