McCain Gambles that Palin is More than a Dan Quayle

Team Obama wasted no time in jumping all over Alaska governor Sarah Palin; as they brusquely put it she has zero experience in statecraft. The obvious point is that this automatically flushes down the drain Republican rival John McCain's prime hit point against Democratic nominee Barack Obama and that's that he's simply too much of a greenhorn on foreign policy and national security to trust White House command too. PALIN GETS IT! Missing in the article is that Palin understands global oil economics BETTER than Obama/Biden, and perhaps better than McCain. A strong advocate on increasing oil supplies, she will help reduce Russian, Iranian, Saudi, and Venezuelan influence. With the $30 billion pipeline she pushed through the oil companies, she will help reduce US dependence on foreign supplies. Her defiance of corruption of all parties is exactly what everyone has been praying for. SHE GETS IT! I only wish we had more like her. The Libs risk alienating most Americans by attacking her. Note the polls gave very little bounce to Obama after her selection. As we learn more about Palin, Obama's socialist agenda will crash and burn. Liberals will say anything to try tarnishing her credentials including claiming she is in the pocket of Big Oil. Nothing could be further from the truth. Read the record: She threatened to cancel the state contract with BP and Conoco Phillips so as to force them to commit to a pipeline. She imposed a windfall profit tax on oil revenues. She took tough moral positions that puts her family and self at risk of retaliation, because her decisions were the right ones for Alaska. She fired those who didn't perform their jobs.
