This new report has some journalistic merit. The author points out Gov Palin's strong diplomatic experience with Canada, though that should have been put at the top of the article. The author tried to find several persons to comment, but why a professor at St. Louis University, who has not bothered to find out about Gov. Palin? The author does not point out that Gov Palin was a strong favorite among Republicans for VP, tied with Romney in most polls. She is on the cover of the last issue of one of the GOP-leaning newsmagazines, NewsMax. It was a surprise only to the Obama campaign people.
