McCain Chooses Palin as Running Mate

In a surprise move, Senator John McCain announced here Friday that he had chosen Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska as his running mate, shaking up the political world at a time when his campaign has been trying to attract women, especially disaffected supporters of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Article misses important information on her background including a new investigation into her decision to fire an employee. Story http://www.adn.com/monegan/story/478090.html that discusses why she is being investigated. No mention in this story of the other more qualified Republican women including Kay Bailey Hutchison and Carly Fiorina who have more experience and had been campaigning for McCain. This is an unusual selection that deserves a thorough investigation into the reasoning for the selection.
