Kessler should have pointed out that Iran agreed to have the IAEA inspectors visit the "new" uranium enrichment facility even before the US "demanded" Iran do so. He might also have mentioned that Iraq and Turkey both oppose any more sanctions against Iran and support the Iranian civil nuclar power program.

The Washington Post intentionally helped to whip up the war frenzy that brought on the catastrophe in Iraq. A needless war with Iran would be even more catastrophic for the US.
