In some ways, I think I shouldn't legitimize this sort of "journalism" by reviewing it; I recognize, however, that some people think it is important and I've certainly seen a plethora of negative reporting on Michelle Obama, so I'll comment on this report. I have no love whatsover for Cindy McCain, but her description of "growing up as an only child" seems correct and consistent with what her perspective would be. Her half-sister did not live with them and when Cindy was born she was the only child in the house. The fact that she inherited her father's entire fortune tells us something about her father's attitude toward his first family. This article is trivia and serves only to distract. In fact, I'm suspicious enough to think the story may be planted in order to draw attention away from the issues that really matter.
