This report is a mixed bag, and it is absurd to suggest Iran would attack US bases in the Gulf on a first-strike basis. Hillary Clinton comes across as tedious. No mention is made of Turkey which supporrts Iran's civil nuclear program and opposes further sanctions. Jamie Rubin wrongly assumes Iran is in fact secretly developing nuclear weapons, as opposed to trying to be in a position to do so should it decide it needed to.

Iran has offered access to the "new" facility to the IAEA, and I agree with China the world should wait to see what the inspectors find. Iran has a right to defend itself and to develop missiles for that purpose. I think it is absurd to claim Iran poses a "threat" to the US.
