The article reports on the bush/cheney administration covertly trying to lock in their idealistic concepts for a police state before skulking out of office. The article presents some opposition views, but gives more space to administration arguments. Putting peace groups on the no-fly list via illegal surveillance somehow gets vanilla coverage.
