Obama clearly had no grounds for saying the "new" Iranian nuclear enrichment facility was "inconsistent with a peaceful program." That Iran appeared to be trying to have option of enriching U-235 to a purity far higher than 5%, without the world being the wiser, seems to be what transpired.

I have to hope Obama does not let himself be pushed into botching the opening to Iran that very much needs to be achieved in the national interests of the US.
