Dissent doesn't belong in a cage

The bulwark against tyranny is dissent. Open opposition, the right to challenge those in power, is a mainstay of any healthy democracy. A well written and informative piece on dissent in America, and how administration forces are politicizing "security" to prevent dissent and protest. The similarity of Chinese crackdown on freedom of speech for the Olympics is said here to be disturbingly similar to US crackdown on freedom of speech as we approach the national nominating conventions.
