FAIR fairly describes what I have seen in big corporate media coverage or non-coverage of the Georgian attacks on civilian populations that instigated the Russian response. The selection of pro-cold war pro-hot war points of view to present on the conflicts, and how they have been framed as a revival of confrontation with Russia allegedly started by Russia brings memories of the selling of fear that has marked buildups to the Iraq war and the Iran confrontation. Fair has a well documented and referenced case here for bad journalism counter to a fair presentation of this news.
