Not a bad story on the tenacity of Hillary Clinton supporters still working to help their candidate secure a superdelegate vote over Barack Obama. The quotes are effective, but one or two more neutral observers would have added some depth. I was also surprised that CQ gave us little idea of how much money these PACs are pulling in for Clinton.

PUMA is quoted and discusses, but the reader isn't told how much clout this and similar groups actually have.

A thin story about anti-Obama, pro-Clinton splinters of the Democratic Party, concentrating mostly on PUMA. What we get is a veil made of threats and efforts to replace Obama with Hillary. Missing is hard data about the splinter groups: how much of the party make up iheir membership? Are there any party leaders among their numbers? How really effective are they, etc.? The one thing we do know about the pro-Clinton crowd: they are childishly and petulantly threatening to vote for McCain if their demands are thwarted. Disgruntled Democrats voting for Bush-Junior-McCain? Boy, are they really serious about taking back their country!
