This is what journalism should be all about. This excellent article recounts the history of right-wing escalating persecutions of ACORN in considerable detail supported by dates, places, people, quotes, and incidents. Right wing Republican distortions have finally become so blatant that even congress has finally awakened to right-wing harassment. A must read.

Looks like the right-wing nutcake Republican hostilities against ACORN have more to do with racism, Bushies’ federal prosecutor debacle, and voter suppression than any ACORN “criminal” activities.
