In the summer of 2006, former North Carolina Senator John Edwards commissioned a series of web-based documentary shorts for his pre-announcement leadership PAC, the One America Committee. Stein shows dogged investigative reporting as he was first on the track of the Edwards scandal, beating the National Enquirer and all the mainstream press. The September 10, 2007 story is updated with the August 8, 2008 story of Edwards admitting the affair. The scandal reminds how power corrupts.
