It's all true, I'm just not sure what his point is. If it's that personal scandals have hurt the GOP, I think he's wrong. I think GOP positions tend to attract "business-friendly" candidates who fall prey to the ready cash. If it's that many of the expected "rising stars" of the party have fallen prey to a variety of disasters, thus decimating their farm team, then he's right. He just isn't too clear about it.
