US readers need to understand Libya and Gaddafi better, and this interview helps. Gaddafi reiterates his support of a unitary state (Israel-Palestine) rather than the two-state solution. H wishes he could see the entire US. He supports elimination of nuclear weapons programs.
I agree with Gaddafi that a resolution of the Israel/Palestine problem is essential if more war is to be avoided. However, I think the two-state solution is far better, at least at this juncture. If Israel prevents it, the end of Israel as a "Jewish" state seems inevitable.
