An important topic, but not well written. Accurate but too riddled with invective to be taken as seriously as it should.

While Frank makes several good points, he also wanders into a lot of invective and irrelevancy. Start in the middle of page two and read to the end and you'll get the good stuff. Then skip to the last paragraph of the piece. If you don't get those, read the rest. But I'm betting NewsTrust readers are smarter than Frank assumes, and you won't need to.

There is little better evidence supporting the contentions of this article than the just reported $79 Billion surplus of cash held by the Iraq government as compared to our growing deficit and floundering economy. The American public need a lot of "education" to help them wake up to the fact we have been had by the ideologists on the right over the last quarter century.

A yellow dog democrat would be ashamed to put out this drivel. I don't think Bush will pardon tax fugitive billionaires on his last day in office and steal the furniture from the White House. I don't know of anyone in the Bush administration who made $100k in her first attempt to buy pork bellies. To my knowledge Bush has not been renting out the Lincoln bedroom for huge sums. If I have to choose between Hollywood rich people and business rich people I'll take the business ones every time.
