This is an important story but I believe the author could have delved much deeper into the topic . For example, if the group was founded in Summer of 2006, in response to a shooting in Seattle, why did they launch their program on the opposite side of the country, in the Catskills, New York ? Presumably because their donor is there, but the funding and mechanics of the operation were glossed over with reassurances of "legal".
