This is a well-written and informative commentary that looks at the current Iran nuclear development from the Iranian rather than the usual U.S.-European perspective. The commentator identifies the different and complex motivations among various Iranian political leaders, thus demolishing the misleading impression in the mainstream media that the whole Iranian government is hell-bent on developing nuclear weapons. The commentary is level-headed and well-argued, with no overt attempt to manipulate the reader with emotion or ideology.

It is labeled as commentary, so it isn't necessary objective reporting, but rather the author's viewpoint. Good to see that it is labeled as commentary.

Overall, it fails to fulfill the promise made in its headline "The way to beat Iran's confrontationists"
