This quick read makes important points in a few sentences. As someone who has argued for thirty years and more, that the idiotic Vietnam War could have been "won" (if only a few hundred more billions of dollars had been poured into the rathole, a few million more people killed, etc.), John McCain quite obviously is a dangerous man to put in charge of deciding matters of war and peace. For McCain, having a hammer means looking for nails to pound. McCain's obsession with the employment of US military power as a "solution" to situations no amenable to the application of such power, clearly points to probable further disasters for the region, and the US, is he were to get into the White House.
