This is quality journalism for Hellman is working hard to save the news that has been affected over the past several years due to the influx of internet coverage and paperless media. With the heavy donation and a potential boost to the nonprofit journalism outlets, Hellman hopes to create a greater sense of strength for the regional news coverage that has lost strength because more and more people are turning away from paper media. With this story centrally focussed on saving good journalism and news, it is extremely relevant, for the author and Hellman are both trying to bring awareness to the fact that local and regional news is still a quintessential part of society today, even though more and more people forget about it as days pass. By strengthening news sources, people will be able to regain their connection to local and regional news and become more aware of their surroundings.
