That senior military officers want millions spent on their in-flight comforts should be an amusing revelation. Except that greed for luxuries demonstrates profound disrespect for ordinary service people. Was there similar pre-war attention paid to acquisition of soldiers' body armor or to the design of adequately protected transport vehicles? Officers should defer spending on unnecessary airliner comforts until the families of low ranked soldiers can afford to live above the poverty level.
