Israel's Supporters Ask, "What Sin?"

As Jews observe "aseret y'mai t'shuvah, the ten days of turning around," I would humbly suggest that supporters of both sides who have trouble with reading comprehension might want to try turning around and taking a new direction: reading carefully and looking at all the facts, while allowing the possibility that their preconceived frameworks of interpretation might not be serving anyone's best interests. Very fine piece, The author argues strongly for Israel's ending the occupation of the West Bank and blames the Israeli assault on Gaza on Israel (with good reason).

Israel can prosper inside its June 1, 1967 borders. Obama needs to tell Netanyahu the "Greater Israel" scheme is a threat to Israel itself.
