For years 'agribusiness' has been gaining more and more control over food production and distribution - and using practices that are not agriculturally sound. Now it seems that the situation is getting worse. This isn't the kind of issue many people pay attention to - until, like the current problems of high cost and diminishing food supply - there is a crisis. The practices described here will just bring a major crisis on sooner rather than later.
