Dont' miss this important article. Scott Horton interviews Jane Mayer on publication of her book "The Dark Side". Mayer has written some of this material in her investigative pieces in the New Yorker. The book adds and consolidates information about the Bush Administration's grim dealings with torture. Mayer recounts how fear and anxiety experienced in the nation after 2001 were exploited by zealots and fools. She names names but states that these people will likely not be held accountable in courts of law. But, she is certain they will be accountable to history.
