FactCheck headlines the AFL-CIO told lies, then says the AFL-CIO told the truth, but McCain put a much smaller bandaid on the situation to cover his tail. This story poses as fact checking, but seems to include as much spin as any political spin piece. Part of the problem is focusing upon the a particular vote without looking at the reasons and nuances behind the bills. Is it possible that FactCheck is partisan? Several of their supposed exposes seem to fit that category.
