Good story about what might happen between Israel and Iran. A quote that I think says a lot, especially since Israel has long thought (that is at least prior to Operation Iraqi Freedom) that Iran was a bigger threat then Iraq, is:"Russia has indicated it is willing to sell its most sophisticated missile system, the S-300P (NATO designation), to Iran. If Israeli military planners see a future threat looming that they cannot counter, a near-term strike might look more attractive. "

An excellent piece from a trusted source on such matters. A nuclear-armed Iran would be a headache for the US, but it's an existential threat to Israel as one well-placed nuclear bomb could effectively incinerate most of the state of Israel. Stay tuned.

The biggest flaw is the story's unquestioning asumption of the Isreali right to bomb any one it sees as an enemy. If Israel has the right of atomic bombs for defense, Why not Iran ? Would Iran be stupid enough to drop an atomic bom on Israel and thus be obliterated by both Israel and the US ?
