It's this type of journalism that contributes to the disconcerting blend of entertainment and news in much of today's media. This lacks all the marks of good, independent journalism and I don't find it newsworthy.

Is this piece important? Not very. Does it help citizens participate in their communities, one of the goals of NewsTrust? Can't see how. The author, a retired teacher and coach, has posted other things at this source on things of potentially more value, such as a piece on whether petroleum should be nationalized. As the site pays for content, its submission here seems to be for marketing purposes.
