How dare they rip the Fourth Amendment?

How can even one senator on either side of the aisle in good conscience vote in favor of this law that does nothing to enhance our security and everything to diminish our rights as a free people? Full Story »

In the sixties, during the storm of Vietnam war protests, pollsters asked ordinary Americans if basic civil rights and freedoms should be abrogated. Questions were posed about each constitutional right. They were described but their source was not identified. Indeed, a majority of Americans did not support the rights and freedoms that Founders believed were fundamental. By extension, it was understood that, if the Bill of Rights had been a document of modern day, it could not be enacted. Apparently that situation holds true today.
