Taking a page from President Bush, Democrat Barack Obama said Tuesday he wants to expand White House efforts to steer social service dollars to religious groups, risking protests in his own party with his latest aggressive reach for voters who usually vote Republican. Full Story »

The title suggests that Obama moved toward the center, when it is more a radical move to the extreme right that panders to right wing religious groups by dangling tax dollars and fails to prevent the churches from using the money to allocate money toward proselytizing. It violates the separation of church and state, makes judgement on what religions are acceptable for state money, and corrupts the churches so they dare not criticize the government. The program is corrupt and should be canceled. Madison would be furious.
