This is an informative "nuts and bolts" piece of the sort for which Politico is best known. Ben Smith has spoken with campaign strategists for both camps and describes the tactics the Obama campaign intends to employ. The piece is not balanced in that it says little about McCain's strategy while Obama's strategy is described in detail, and the McCain spokesperson receives little opportunity to "spin" it. That may be in part because Obama's campaign has been so breathtakingly successful thus far. It will be very interesting to see how well Obama's game plan works and to learn from the McCain camp what their overall strategy might be.
