Rich's point in writing about Glenn Beck is unclear. He seems to be suggesting that Beck is a sort of populist, voicing a sort of nonpartisan suspicion and frustration with politics in general in the U.S. I'm not sure that's what he's driving at, and if it is, he could make the point more clearly.
