Tom Friedman has really done his homework on energy and climate change as shown in this column and a number of others as well as his book and documentary. In this column, he cites the contradiction between the administration's claim to seeking solutions for oil dependency and its lack of support for the drivers that will make those solutions possible, ie: credits for wind and solar, a floor for oil and gas prices, etc.
