It might be possible to write an article giving correctly quoted info about what Obama said regarding the surge strategy, and then try to bring forward facts that show he was wrong. But his isn't such a piece, or anything like it. Barone lacks hard facts, stats, and quotes, as well as hyperlinks that might furnish the same. A mendacious propaganda piece emanating from the right-wing echo chamber.

This news analysis has considerable journalistic merit. The author gives an objective assessment of the current status of key issues, similar to the analyses that he regular contributes during election years. The key facts are listed and the situation in Iraq is concisely yet objectively stated.
