This article states both sides but skews by painting this as a major rift between the Democratic Senator from VA Jim Webb. For those of us who live in Virginia, Webb has been solidly behind most of his party's initiatives especially regarding labor and speerheaded the GI bill of rights. He has always been a supporter of gun control and his stand on offshore gas exploration for Virginia doesn not differ from Mark Warner, nor Governor Kaine, all three of whom support Obama. Also the article doesn't provide much informaiton on the actual bill.
