This opinion piece has modest journalistic merit. The author seeks out those whose views oppose those of Sen McCain, with only one paragraph at the end "In fairness " devoted to supporting McCain. The author ignores the fact that much of the price rise on oil is due to speculation, and that a commitment to moving forward on developing new oil resources in North America will decrease the interest of speculators.
