An excellent essay about Pittsburgh, written just ahead of the G-20 Summit, that reflects on how the city has changed in recent decades and the symbolism behind the president's choice of Pittsburgh for this international meeting. The selection of this formerly working-class town may represent a deep irony, depending on the results of the meeting. Very clever, highly original narrative.
