Since it is an opinion piece, sources are less relevant. The fact that it is about a friend of the writer made me wonder about fairness also. However having read the piece I feel the information seems genuine and heartfelt. I have learned about a facet of Tim Russert's personality that I never would have known and am comfortable with recommending this article.
