the story shows many broadcast news media clips which make john stewart's point, that the same media which supposedly decry the blogs that create and pick up absurd and destructive rumors about barack obama ,wholeheartedly amplify the value and reach of those same rumors as they discuss, dissect and broadcast them. i would see this practice not as a free press, but as an adolescent one
