This is an opinion article that interviewed McCain supporters who appear to be uninformed supporters motivated by fear and hatred. The theme of the story is that fear and hatred have not gone out of style in this country and will be used against Obama. McCain supporters interviewed had no idea that McCain has shifted his position on Roe vs Wade, immigration, tax cuts, torture, Iraq, etc. and did not seem to care but they were motivated by rumors of patriotism and race. The author is angry but anger is justifiable if people cast their votes based on race alone.
