A culture war, literally

I don't know who coined the term “culture war” to describe our political divisions, but I'm reasonably sure he or she intended it only as a figure of speech

It is opinion that that shows the violent differences in America that weakly links it to terrorism.

There is a culture divide in this country but there has always been a culture divide that is expressed in violent behavior.
