A before-the-event article containing scant information. If Republicans carry through their threat to block the bill, it will be the second example in a week of Republicans refusing to allow Americans any benefit of their governance. Their usual “my way or no way” approach means the Sisters of Oil will not only continue to receive government subsidies, but also continue to reap $1,200 a-second profits. Amazingly, in an election year Republicans are pandering to special interests about an issue that’s incensed most Americans. An issue that takes a big bite out of their budgets. Do Republicans have a death wish? .
