The article labels McCain a champion of open government but does not comment on the contradiction that this was the first time MCain had allowed reporters into his fund raisers providing no reason as to why he kept the media out of his events. Begs the question of how can they give him a label of being a champion of open government. Is it because he said he was? Also the article brings up McCain challenging Obama to 10 town hall events and that he would meet him whenever and wherever but no mention in the article that yesterday both McCain and Obama rejected a town hall debate in New York because only ABC News would cover it. The article infers that Obama does not want to debate him and does not mention that details are being worked out.

The article was a one-sided look at McCain's fund raising with some of Republican elite's. The quest for town hall meetings is another interesting twist by McCain, hyperbole as usual.
