My problem with this article starts from the beginning of it - a daughter of a military family is trying to defend the "honor" of John McCain against the "same people" that "famously “swiftboated” John Kerry in 2004". Did she wrote a SIMILAR article in 2004?? I doubt it. From my perspective the McCain years at "Hanoi Hilton" should be part of the PUBLIC record and debate it VIVIDLY by ANY groups of people, specially the Vietnam veterans. I have seen clips from Senate auditing the POW issues where McCain is just trying to quite the lady representing POW families in the most rude way. If I am not mistaken he killed HR 3603, Truth Accountability Bill, although it passed the House with a vote of 401 to 0.. These are facts but the author doesn't even bother to mention it. Obviously a partisan view of McCain but I am giving 3 stars - people need to read this kind of articles in order to ask for the truth.
