Veterans group to launch attacks on John McCain

McCain often cites his service in the military as evidence of his dedication to and support of his fellow veterans. But when some of these groups were crediting the two presidential candidates for their support of important issues to veterans, McCain came up short.

This newspaper is owned by Freedom Communications, which owns TV stations in medium markets across the country. None of their news operations are of note, and they have a distinct right lean to them. I know their news directors. This story was quite good and important. I wish the writer would have sourced what Huff Post article the anti-McCain group was referring to. Or have said that they did not source their allegation about illegal aliens with drivers licenses.
